If you’re new around here… let me introduce myself.

I’m Tamara, the maker, creator and the hands behind Wrapt In String!

What started as a love for creating has grown into a little business filled with things I genuinely love — kokedamas, macramé, dried & preserved florals, laser engraving and The White Label Collection.

Everything is created with my own two hands, right here in my little corner of the world.

And if you’ve been following along for a while, you’ll know I’m always dreaming up something new…

Right now, I’m working hard behind the scenes on something I think that you are all going to Love just as much as I do… so Stay Tuned! 💟

October Markets are here.

First up we have the Northern Australian Festival of Arts Renegade Handmade Market down at Strand Park on Saturday 10th from 9am to 2pm.

Then we are back to Ingham for Markets at the Mosaic on Saturday 17th from 8am to 12pm.

The next couple of months will be jammed packed, so stay tuned for where we’ll be popping up next.

Houston… I think we have a problem 😳

I’m all about celebrating the wins, but sometimes you just have to admit when something is a BIG FAT LOSS! 😂

And friends… this is one of them.

I’ve been wanting to add refills to The White Label Collection for a while now. Sustainability, reducing waste and getting more life out of those beautiful jars has always been high on my list.

So… I gave candle refills a crack. 🕯️

I measured.
I double-checked.
I measured AGAIN.
I checked everything against the jars.

And somehow, somewhere… I got it VERY wrong. 🤦‍♀️

Because these little beauties are ready to go…
but they don’t fit the jars. 😳😂

Back to the drawing board I go!

But don’t worry — nothing is going to waste. ♻️
These will be melted down and reused because if there’s one thing I’m not doing, it’s throwing perfectly good wax in the bin.

So, no refill launch just yet… but I’ll regroup, work out where I went wrong and have another crack.

Because sometimes the biggest part of creating something new is getting it wrong first. 🤷‍♀️

Stay tuned… The White Label refills are still coming. 🤍

HAT HANGER — WITH A LITTLE BIT OF BUSH INGENUITY 🤠

My boy came home complaining that his hat box was taking up way too much room. 😂

I suppose when you spend a majority of the year living out of a swag and your Toyota while contract mustering, space is pretty damn important!

So… back to the drawing board I went.

I redesigned our original Hat Hanger to make it shorter and more compact, so it would fit perfectly between the seats of his Toyota.

Add a magnetic hook and hey presto! 🤠

A Hat Hanger made for the Toyota — keeping his hat off the seats, out of the way and, most importantly, not squashed… without a bulky hat box taking up valuable space.

Sometimes the best product ideas come from solving a problem at home!

Now… to make him a small cap hanger to match.
