Last minute rush to get my entry in for the 2025 Martin Hanson Art Awards.

Titled "Treasures of the Tides" - Discovered intact upon the shoreline of our local Canoe Point beach, this coral felt like a personal treasure. Once bleached and lifeless, it has been transformed with vivid colour and mounted on a mirrored sea. The sculpture honors both the fragility and endurance of the reef: a relic of what has been lost, and a luminous reminder of what remains.
