Last night I attended another amazing cake class run by where we were tasked with making this stunning cupcake bouquet for Mother’s Day.

Greeted with a glass of bubbly and platters of nibbles on arrival, followed up with pizza for dinner halfway through! It was a lovely night to spend with friends !

Think we did a pretty great job replicating the bouquet! Can’t wait to eat them tomorrow ❤️

Up for grabs is my sample make of The Ethereal Top by made in size 4 (for children) and ready to post!

Nope. I didn’t get the opportunity to pick up my hook even once whilst we were away.

Mr C had to sleep in his portacot in the dining room 🤣🙈 so even once all the kids were fiiiiiiiiiinally asleep, the light was not conducive to crocheting and my headlamp was not in the jumper “go bag”.

So, the jumpers are still waiting to be finished 🙈 hopefully I’ll finish them before my kids grow out of them 🤷🏻‍♀️

The realities of selling your house while still trying to run a crochet business! 😅

All my “go bags” are transferred into the boot of my car for each open for inspection and then pulled back out so I can continue crocheting each night after the kids fiiiiiiiiiiiiinally are all asleep 🫠 IYKYK am I right?!?!

So, I’ve finished 1 of the 5 jumpers I started last Easter 😅 just how many of the rest of them can I finish this Easter break? 🤷🏻‍♀️ feel free to have a guess in the comments.

Hope everyone has a great Easter and here’s hoping from next week I don’t need to continue to move my go bags 🤞

I am so beyond happy with how my kitchen makeover turned out! Who knew painting it was the facelift it needed. What a simple way to lift your kitchen without having to spend thousands tiling or replacing bench tops!

Ok, this looks STUNNING! I’m so happy with how this is turning out! I’ve now completed 1 coat of top coat on the tiles and the bench. I think it’s looking fabulous!

Apparently today is the day that “goodbye pink tiles and goodbye pink bench” started 🤣

Pretty stoked that I’ve managed to prime a section of splashback and one whole piece of bench. Ready to be coloured!

Not bad for about an hour or so of crocheting last night! Still need to embroider the mouth on, but I’m on the decreases and by tonight this pup’s head will be complete and hopefully I’ll be a good way into the next one!

The cake tour of 2026 continued yesterday.

I promise I’m crocheting in the 5 minutes I have to myself after my children go to sleep before I also go to sleep 😅

But tomorrow I’m off to Geelong for work for a couple of nights. So, of course the crochet is coming and I can work uninterrupted!
