STUDIO TATE | SKUPA COLOUR STUDY 26

Studio Tate is delighted to be part of the SKUPA> Colour Study 26, alongside Alexander &CO., Pattern , MAC Design Studio, Kennedy Nolan and In Addition , six Australian design studios each exploring a new colour for the SKUPA collection.

Our response is Blossom Time by Dulux Australia, a muted dusty pink that feels warm, playful and quietly confident. Conceived as the playful counterpart to SKUPA’s existing Red Stop, Blossom brings a lighter expression to the collection while allowing the furniture and its craftsmanship to remain the hero.

The process gave us space to be playful and instinctive, while finding a colour that feels distinctly Studio Tate and entirely at home within the SKUPA collection - reflecting the natural affinity between our two design approaches.

The six entries are now live, with one colour to become part of the SKUPA collection.

STUDIO TATE PROFILE | JESSICA LUCAS | SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

Introducing Jessica Lucas, one of our senior interior designers and the commercial lead on Studio Tate’s latest hotel project Motel Flinders. Working across workplace and hospitality typologies, Jessica brings an intuitive approach to design, with a natural instinct for colour, texture and composition that lends her work a distinct sense of warmth and depth.

Drawn to the stories that shape a project, Jessica uses narrative as a foundation to create spaces that feel grounded in their context. Her work is defined by a meticulous attention to detail and a clear understanding of design’s influence on wellbeing.

A collaborative and trusted partner, Jessica places strong value on building meaningful client relationships. She works closely with stakeholders to understand and interpret their vision, guiding projects from concept through to delivery with both creative insight and technical precision. The result is work that is resolved, enduring and aligned with both the brief and broader project ambitions.
