Pretty productive day today. I made 3 beautiful face grain chopping / serving boards.

Timber: Spotted gum (with gorgeous fiddleback grain)
Finish: Food safe mineral oil, Howard’s chopping board conditioner and then mineral oil and beeswax board butter

Love the grain on this timber

Something different today, I made a vase.

Wood: Blackbut burl, pinecones and resin
Height: 13cm
Diameter: 11.5cm
Finish: Custom grit and Odies oil

Cadaghi bowl

Really happy with the grain pattern in this bowl. The timber was really hard and a bit difficult to turn, but super happy with the results.

Wood - Cadaghi (a type of eucalypt)
Width - 25.5cm
Height - 8cm
Finish - Tung oil and beeswax

Been a while since I have made much lately… but today I have made a lovely little bowl.

Basic design, but the grain pattern is awesome.

Diameter: 16cm
Height: 6cm
Timber: No idea but super cool
Finish: Shellac followed by Tung oil and beeswax finish
