What started as Alykat Gallery & Studio back in 2020 has now grown into The Laneway Gallery, and I've just celebrated the one-year milestone with a very Alykat-esque group exhibition as a little nod to where it all began 💖

I’m incredibly proud of this little gallery (especially in a regional town and in times like these), but creating space for affordable, alternative art is still a huge passion of mine and I hope I can find a way to keep it going through all this madness.

Anyone noticed the new poster design for Nambucca Valley Open Streets Festival looks a little Alykat this year? Well, you’d be right!! 👏😻🚦

It’s been an adventure working with lovely Joel at Good Crew and the gorgeous photo's from last year's event by And the trees photography to create this mammoth digital collage, launching their next free festival taking over the streets of Macksville NSW on February 14.

Scroll through the close up snippets to see the detail in bringing all of the images together and added illustrations highlighting the river meets the sea concept with local totems and animals of the area playfully interacting.

It’s a huge family fun day out with local band stages and activities, markets and games, and a spectacular fireworks display to finish up your Valentine’s Day! Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mid north coast region 🫶
