Oh the ends… so many ends 😳🤣 If you know me you know I’m a bit slack at sewing in ends, mainly because I’m always so keen to move on to the next project 🤪🙄 but this time I made sure the ends were ALL woven in. Bad initial pic but I wore my new mix tape tee today. So happy with the result 😁😁🧶❤️

Studio Yarn is 5 years old 🎉🧶🎉
It’s hard to believe that it has gone so quick. What started out as a very basic and simple set up here in my little store has grown and developed and become a fantastic community, with customers coming from near and far.
…. and largely without a website too 🤦‍♀️
So from now fro the next 2 weeks and ending on 19th September every in-store purchase over $50 will go into the draw for a $50 voucher.
So pop on in if you’re able and get all you need for your summer projects.

So I’ve been collecting g random mini skeins for sometime now waiting for the right project. Theres been a few I’ve liked but when I saw “Mix Tape” by Wool & Pine recently, I knew that this was the one for all the mini’s. This is a simple, engaging and super fun knit. 🧶 I’m almost there and can’t wait to wear it before it gets too hot. (It’s the 3rd day of spring today and the temp is apparently going to reach 30degrees today)😱
Best get cracking cause there’s lots of ends to see in once it’s finished.

To everyone who visited QLD Yarnfest over the weekend and came to say hi, make a purchase from my yarn, pattern and kit selection, to bring me treats and to show and tell me about items they have made from my store.
A massive thank you also to Rebecca and her QLD yarn fest team who assisted everyone over the weekend and put together this fantastic event in this new spacious location.
I think it is safe to say if was a great weekend for everyone who visited and who had a stall collectively.
I love this yarny community, the new friends I have made along the way and the support, encouragement and inspiration we all share with each other. Thank you to all you fellow stall holders for becoming my friends along this amazing journey. 🩷
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at next years event. I have heaps of new patterns currently in the pipeline and yarns to showcase in the near future.
As I am currently redoing my website it’s currently down for the count so if theres something you’re after please do get in touch with me.
If you’d like to pop in for a visit sometime I’m open: Wed & Fri 9.30 til 3pm and Thurs & Sat 9am til 1 pm.
….. and we have a brilliant coffee shop The Cart open til 12noon daily, right next door.
