Final call to partner with us this October! đź’š

📣 Attention businesses, organisations, and brands - 5 final trade stalls have been released for the 2026 NSW Landcare & Local Land Services Conference.

Remember - this isn’t your typical conference - we’re leaving the big convention centres behind and bringing Landcarers, Local Land Services, and community from across NSW to Corowa on the beautiful Murray River.

This is your opportunity to reach your audience across 3 exciting days of conference programming.

Connect with an audience of leaders in Landcare, sustainable agriculture, landholders, volunteers, and the natural resource management community.

đź”— View our Partnership Prospectus on the conference website to secure a trade stall, and view our final sponsorship packages and advertising opportunities:

Align your organisation with a movement creating real impact in agriculture, biodiversity, and regional communities.

This initiative is made possible by the NSW Landcare Enabling Program, a collaboration between Local Land Services and Landcare NSW supported by the NSW Government.

🎨 Introducing Our New President: Sue Griffiths

Arts Rutherglen is thrilled to announce the appointment of our new President, Sue Griffiths!

After being deeply impressed by her first experience with the Tastes of Art Prize, Sue is excited to take on a more active leadership role. She would love to see this major event grow even larger, especially as we prepare to celebrate our milestone 10th year presenting the show in 2027.

Sue and her husband, Greg, moved from Melbourne to Rutherglen in June 2020. Once the Covid lockdowns lifted, they were determined to dive headfirst into the local community. While Greg joined Rotary, Sue’s journey with Arts Rutherglen began a few years ago after a chance meeting with AR member Robyn Sullivan at a Rotary Club BBQ.

Having travelled extensively throughout Europe over the years, with local galleries and museums always being a major drawcard - joining Arts Rutherglen felt like the perfect fit for Sue.

Please join us in giving Sue an exceptionally warm welcome! 🥂

Would you be interested in coming to the Corowa Community Garden on a Thursday for a produce swap? You could either bring something to swap or get an item for a gold coin donation! We have a cuppa around 10:30 so we would have it set up then.
We will keep you posted!

We need your help!

Our branch has a rich history, and our beautiful building will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2028. To mark this special milestone, we’re creating a timeline of our story—something to treasure and pass on to future generations.

If you’re a former CWA member, or related to someone who was, we would love your help. We’re especially looking for photographs of the original building—both inside and out—as well as any memorabilia we could borrow or copy.

Although the centenary is still two years away, this will truly be a labour of love, and we want to gather as much as we can over the coming months. If you have something to share, please get in touch with our Secretary, Robyn, via email at [email protected] or send us a message here on Facebook.

We’re looking for:
• Photos – inside, outside, events, members (anything featuring our building)
• Old CWA magazines
• Badges
• Historical printed CWA material
• Stories passed down from family members
• CWA recipes you’ve inherited

Every piece, big or small, helps us preserve our story đź’›
