Singapore was amazing… 🇸🇬✨
…but being home with hubby, the kids, my Thermie AND my coffee machine? ☕️💚 JUST as good!

And honestly… after a few busy days away, I’m feeling a little tired 😴 — you can probably tell from the pic 😂

So tonight’s mission: MENU PLANNING! 📝

🚙Camping or Caravanning with the Thermomix® ⛺

We often receive enquiries from customers about the power requirements of the three models of Thermomix®, if they take it camping or caravanning.
using your Thermomix TM5, Thermomix TM6, or Thermomix TM7 while camping or caravanning.

All three Thermomix models have similar power requirements and can generally be used successfully when connected to a suitable power supply.

Power Requirements
The Thermomix uses:
Up to 500 Watts for the motor
Up to 1000 Watts for the heating element
Maximum total power draw of approximately 1500 Watts
The appliance is designed for:
220–240V AC
50/60Hz power supply
Important Information for Off-Grid Power Use
If using your Thermomix with an inverter, generator, or off-grid power system, it’s important to understand that these systems are not always 100% efficient. Some devices may also only achieve their advertised power output for short peak periods rather than continuously.

For this reason, we recommend using:
A power supply with a minimum continuous output of 2000 Watts
A Pure Sine Wave inverter or generator
Pure Sine Wave systems provide cleaner and more stable power, which is better suited to appliances like the Thermomix that contain sensitive electronic components.

Our Recommendation
Before purchasing or using an off-grid power setup, we strongly recommend speaking with the supplier or retailer of the inverter/generator system. Advising them that the Thermomix:
Requires up to 2000 Watts continuous power, and
Contains sensitive electronic components
will help them recommend a suitable product.

Using Your Thermomix at a Caravan Park
If you are staying at a caravan park and connected to standard mains power, your Thermomix should operate the same way it does at home without issue.

My little gal and I are doing the Bridge 2 Bisbane along with a bunch her friends, staff and parents from the primary school. The kids are wanting to raise funds for their awesome chappy and all the fantastic work he does!
