This Quirky Croc is available at I screen art at Jape Homemaker Village along with a small collection of Tokpa Studio babywear. (QCs are also available online.)

The fabric is printed Indigenous art by Sharoline Nampijinpa Frank, depicting the Yarripiri Dreaming - ancestral snake’s journey through Country in the Northern Territory.

Good news from my neurosurgeon 🥳 MRI all clear, no regrowth of the brain tumour and no new ones. (I was feeling confident but it’s always a bit nerve wracking!)

Now enjoying some more family and friends time in Melbourne before returning home to Darwin! 💙🧡 Here’s some rock art my creative nephew and I did together. Mum now has little surprises throughout her garden.

Today I’m celebrating! The 50th Quirky Croc has just sold at the Tactile Arts shop.

I wish I’d kept count of how many I’ve made altogether. It must be over 100 now!

Just home (Mum’s) after my annual MRI at The Royal Melbourne Hospital RMH . (Glad that’s over! Chat with neuro about results next week.🤞)

It’s been lovely staying here, spending evenings cooking, chatting or watching a show (while hand stitching pencil pots).

I feel lucky that my Melbourne appointments fall at this time of year-

It’s currently the Darwin build-up - the hot, humid transition between the dry season and wet (monsoonal) season. Melbourne is actually a welcome change of climate! 😘

This piece of my textile art found a new home at the Incognito Art Show in Townsville.

Incognito is a not-for-profit supporting Australian artists, with every purchase helping fund programs and opportunities for artists with disability.

A happy customer sent me this photo from her holiday in Queensland. She bought a small wet bag for herself and a large one for her husband, and tells me they love them!

Have to admit, I’m not a fan of Halloween. But my creative nephew loves any excuse to celebrate or dress up. So we decorated some stones from Nana’s garden. 🎃

I’d grown tired of the dated fabric stretched over canvas that came with the apartment, so I painted over it. (It took a lot of gesso! 😃)

The turtle adds to the coastal theme I’ve got going on.
