Here are some beautiful October moments from our central highlands florist shop!

Looking at our local bushland through the eyes of a florist! 👀

Today we headed out for a walk near Tipperary Springs, just five minutes from the shop, in search of native flowers and in particular Orchids!

I love how these wildflowers quietly emerge from the scrub. Small, delicate and often easy to miss, they reveal just enough colour and detail to catch the eye of a pollinator or a flower lover!

Our local bushland has been through a lot, and much of what looks like untouched nature today is actually quite different from its original state.

Amongst the introduced Gorse, Blackberries and old mining sites, these little wildflowers continue to appear. A pretty reminder of things that have been part of this landscape for many many years!

Featured - Tiger Orchid, Lady Finger Orchid, Bush Pea, Mistletoe, Maidenhair Fern, Bracken, Native Violet, Milkmaids, Wattle, Rice Flower and Happy Wanderer.

Our favourite bouquet this week! 💕🦊

We source many of our flowers and foliage from local growers, and often it’s their unique varieties and colours that can make our bouquets feel extra special!

We don’t just love this kind of floristry, we totally live for it!

Our favourite bouquets are always the ones that seem to tell a story of the people, farms and gardens we’re lucky enough to be connected to.

(This trending audio choice seemed very off brand but also very fitting at the same time 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Surrendering to the season!

An absolute highlight this week was Jennifer’s bouquet!

It was a burst of seasonal favourites! Including gorgeous red Peonies which were lovingly grown by the legendary Liv from Olivia Coutts | Floral Designer & Boutique Accommodation Host! With a fleeting season and blooms that open in the blink of an eye, the timing and logistics of working with peonies really do make florists feel like wizards! ✨

Thank you to Jen + Ash for trusting our creativity we absolutely can’t stop thinking about this one!
