I finally have some good news about this Heather Ross collection 🎉

After taking an extended ocean cruise around Asia, has finally arrived in the Australian warehouse. The team are working hard to get it processed and shipped, and it should she shipped to me within the next 7-10 days

There’s still some bundles available to pre- order. Yardage will be limited

R Is For Regenbah

I have been working on this whole-cloth quilt for most of the year while taking Heidi Parkes year-long quiltmaking class. It holds the stories of my late Dad’s life. The devasting flood of 1950, which isolated his family for 10 months on their sheep property near the Macquarie Marshes holds centre stage

I’ve hand quilted ‘ripples’ extending out from the map of the homestead, quilting over some of the applique in white 40wt, and blue 12wt over the background Swipe for detail.

If I’m making a quilt label, then I must be getting close to a finish! I don’t often take. The time to embroider them, but this is for a memoir quilt about my Dad’s life

So for I’m actually pushing for a finish. Stand by for the big reveal

I curated some new Liberty lawn bundles over the weekend

This is the sherbet fat 1/8th bundle and it’s perfect for any project that’s calling for a pop of something extra

10 fat 1/16ths of Tana lawn in soft ditsy florals with a pop of stronger pink thanks to Betsy

I called this one Minties and Musk Sticks for pretty obvious reasons. The bundle has 10 fat 1/16ths of Liberty lawns in mint, teal and cool pink
