Have I been set up across from these beautiful blooms all day mentally matching up my products?

Yes. Yes, I have. What gave it away?

The flowers on display at the inverleigh_flower_show are absolutely stunning, and the community vibe is fabulous 👌

My upcycled patchwork tote has a new home! Thank you, Sarah! I'm glad you love her as much as I do x

There's even a selfie wall! Food vans, more stalls inside and outside, and tables of the most gorgeous blooms produce and artworks!

Sorry I didn't do a video today - it was a bit of a scramble to set up after I left my risers sitting in the driveway after cleaning them. Good thing we're not too far away and my husband is a downright LEGEND.

I'll be at inverleigh_flower_show today until 4pm, then at Ocean Grove Market tomorrow from 9am-1pm. Note to self: make sure nothing is left in the driveway.

I finally finished the upcycled bag I started a few weeks ago! Huzzah! It was a bit tough to turn through, but it seems to have worked 💪

It's been a while since I've made any new tote bags, and it felt great to get back to playing around with fabric selections and seeing what came out of it. One *might* be part of a raffle prize on the weekend 🤫

Now the sewing room is an absolute mess with the cutting table buried under scraps and offcuts!

I still have a stack of things to make tomorrow - cleaning up will be first on the list.

Aaaand they're finished. Working with these fabrics has been an absolute joy!

Flowers, plants, roses, sweet peas, dogwood, cherries and sheep - there's a book sleeve to suit everyone here. Unless you're after Halloween - then you're out of luck!

Available inverleigh_flower_show on Saturday and Rotary Club Ocean Grove market on Sunday, and I'll pop what's left online next week 😊

Zipper pulls are going on, then it's sewing and turning out the book sleeves, then closing the seams.

So close! So many pretties almost ready for new homes!

25/10/2026

What is even happening with my brain?!

I managed to get through without forgetting to replace the bobbin this time, then sewed the first zip in the wrong way around!

Rip, rip, snip, snip fixed it.

Decided it was the universe telling me it was time to stop for the day after several hours of work.

But... I just had to do a couple more zips first. Only 47 to go!

At least the fabric is gorgeous! 🥰
