A sad day at with the last event held at the clubs home of 25 years 😦thanks to a very short sighted decision preference given to the past aka a museum instead of a collaborative space for then and now .With 75 years history of its own thousands of hands on clay a rich and diverse community based ethos we are forced in to a virtual existence in a genre that should be tactile , collaborative and inclusive. no where to call home .As the final open day was held people's pots were fired, local participation was huge .A final wheel demo setting our challenge to go high was set to see us out and done what is needed is a supportive council interested in community based volunteer run inclusive dedicated & vibrant with years of working teaching demonstrating experience please help if you can please :)

From November this year the oldest potters club in OZ will be homeless thanks to Unley council who will not work with us to find another space whilst they take our current rental to enlarge a museum 🙁.This is despite a significant community presence thousands of students being trained in all things clay we are out.............. so this is your last opportunity to come and see what we do and get involved in making ! Be early if you want to buy and glaze your own as pot for Raku they sell out fast .If you want to come and watch the demos they are from 12 until 4 pm .
