Jason from the Gisborne Men’s Shed has delivered again 🌟. I was delighted to be involved with this piece, doing a teaching session with the guys on how to pour epoxy. Jason did all the hard work of flattening, infills, sanding and finishing. The Redgum looks incredible paired with our red bronze mica. Amazing work mate! Let’s do another one 😜

I know I said I wasn’t going to create anymore pieces (I can hear you yelling at me from over there Mr C 😜), but when one of your favourites asks.. you just can’t say no ❤️ This gorgeous little side table measures approximately 500 x 500. Using our very own Deep Pour epoxy, tinted with our fire red mica. The timber is Mahogany and throws some beautiful pink and tan tones. It really makes the red ‘pop’. Finished in the food safe Kustom Grit, it’s ready for years of enjoyment. Huge thanks to .timber for supplying the timber, and ❤️

Doing some fun experiments in the studio today 🧪🔬. Doing some testing on how Ultimate Glass performs on Aluminium. Scuffed versus not scuffed.. on 2 different types of aluminium. We will be testing its adhesion and flex, as our local customer is wanting to do a floodcoat over a large aluminium table. And to take this table all around the country to markets, fairs and trade shows. Watch this space! 👀 🇦🇺

One of our flower preservers was a bit rushed for time, and couldn’t wait the 2 day curing time for a top coat on the back of her piece. She tried car polish but it just made it hazy. I recommended giving Kustom Grit a go, as I’ve had fantastic results using it on clear pieces myself. The results speak for themselves! Amazing work Casey 👏❤️
