Here at Eighty8interiordesigns, we love helping clients complete special spaces within their home, and this space was already beautiful, it just needed that finishing touch.

Our client knew she wanted plum tones and had picked the base fabric for her bay window seats but wasn't sure how to add more patterns and colours through the cushions and the combination to go with. That's where we came in and created some bespoke cushions to complete the look and move the colour and pattern from 1 side of the window to the other.

As the morning light trickled into this window during installation, the garden outlook was breathtaking and brought a smile to our face...you know the type thst just make you stop and smile and be happy? This was one of those moments. With the eighty8 design touch, this window is now completed, and it's definelty a space we would curl up with a book and cuppa and just to soak in those morning rays and evening sunsets.

It's about supporting small , local businesses, promoting their unique products, bringing back the attention to detail, the quality, and the charm of handmade. You can have a beautiful home. Had to share this little achievement I received via email last week. I am not one to chase awards or enter competitions, but this award is humbling as it's customer satisfaction based and so to win it again, 2 years in a row this is AMAZING!

To receive this in my second year, being a small business owner and in a very tough economy is testament that my vision and passion for what I do is worth the endless hours poured into my business. Anyone can open a retail store, but to make it successful, we rely on customers and repeat customers to stay open and keep the dream alive!
Being embraced so beautifully by locals and visitors words can't express my gratitude for the recognition from industry and that my dedication and passion for what I love and do as my career and have the pleasure of sharing with all my clients day in and day out, all my store visitors and those I cross paths with in industry makes it all worth it!

Midway through the year, I started to plan the new relesse for the September in brisbnae expo. Now, I usually hide this until closer. But im inspired, and this year, I thought I'd share and get some feedback on the collection.
These tones are very much on trend atm and anyone who knows me, knows I dont do trends, but if I do I put my own spin on it, and recently a client came in looking for a collection of scatter cushions and she inspired me to create this collection as I adored the combo of fabrics, textures and patterns when putting the design together for her.
Naturally, I also need artwork and think of the bases of lamps I'll use, which, yes, in true candice fashio, they are already purchased, haha. You'll have to wait for those! I also love to support local artists, and this js 1 artist I've featured a few times the talented , and here is her beautiful artwork seamlessly blending with the collection LUV LUV!

Here at Eighty8interiordesigns we care deeply about the environment we create for ourselves to live in but we are also super passionate about supporting local businesses here in Australia and supporting your wellbeing too.

I personal struggle with a lot of gut issues and finding wholesame tasty food out and even cooking at home can be a struggle with all my inflammations.
However I recently went on a retreat with the amazing family and each day we were treated to the most amazing and nourishing foods by Aja and its not the first time I've tried her food, but this time she has her spices and they were for sale so we good take home her wholesome cooking and continue supporting our health.

The whole time at the retreat I was wanting to support her and spread the word to others, so it made sense the best way I could was to bring her products instore so now they are here!

We have 4 spices available in store and online. All you do is mix 1 tablespoon in with your fav vegetables and protein and away you go and she even has some recipes available to use too.

With mothers Day around the corner, why not spoil yourself, your mum, or a friend and support local x

Hello Beautiful community. In spirit and out of respect for Anzac day I be spending the morning with family and then will open the store from 1pm to 4pm.

For those planning on coming to the Mt there is a dawn service as well as mid morning service.

Majority of stores and cafes are planning to be open this Anzac Day Saturday 25th April so please come visit us here on the Mt and support local whilst you enjoy a family day out X

It's Sunday at it's the last day of school holidays for many so if your not up on Tamborine Mt you are missing out on the beautiful weather, the shops and local walks and cafes we have to offer up here.
Got nothing to do? Want a cruisey relaxing day out with friends and family before the rush of school returns, then come on up my friends.

We have some beautiful handmade cushions. Lampshades and bespoke decor loke clocks, hand poured candles, statues, artwork by local talent and much more on hand and at your fingertips ready to adorn your home and add that little touch of something different!

Aghhh sooo excited to have back in stock, unfortunately kiln gods were not kind to us so we only got half the order, but more to come soon.

I simply adore Ronels unique eye for colour and pattern and how she plays with this in her designs. I have never seen the black and white feather/snakeskin pattern and I almost kept this one for myself!

Very limited stock! These will not last. In fact, a lovely customer came in and purchased one yesterday before I could even take a photo or video it, less than 30mins in the shop and out a beautiful ring bud vase went to its new home love the support from locals for handmade ceramics supporting artists X

These are not online only instore. Open Thursday to Sunday 10am-3pm today, 9am to 3pm Fri, 9am to 4pm Sat and 10am to 4pm Sunday!
