• Levelling depths up to 24mm in some areas
• 105 m2 of 7.5mm Hybrid Floors - Enchanted, Colour Titania Blackbutt

Did you know? 👇

When installing vinyl planks, we dry lay every plank first—without glue. Once every cut is perfectly trimmed and the layout is checked, we lift the floor in sections, apply the adhesive, and lay it back down.

Why do we do it this way?

🔹 DRYING TIME
Hard-set adhesive has a short open time and sets quickly. Dry laying allows us to complete all cuts and adjustments first, so we’re not rushing while the adhesive is open.

🔹 PATTERN & LAYOUT
Dry laying lets us see the finished pattern before anything is glued. We can move planks around, perfect the layout, and easily identify and replace any plank that stands out.

🔹 CLEANER INSTALLATION
With no adhesive during cutting and initial laying, the job stays clean. We then glue sections one at a time. The surrounding planks help keep the newly glued section in place, preventing movement and avoiding a messy adhesive cleanup.

The result? A cleaner, more precise and carefully planned installation. 👌

50m² of 7.5mm Hybrid Flooring by Preference Floors – Easy-Plank in Natural Spotted Gum 🤎

Installed throughout 2 bedrooms, lounge/dining and kitchen.

We levelled the Yellow Tongue joints, installed a moisture barrier as per manufacturer specifications, and finished the kitchen with matching-colour scotia for a clean, seamless look.

Our client had existing flooring that had unfortunately been discontinued, but we didn’t let that stop us. We sourced a matching colour and finish to seamlessly continue the look onto the staircase. 🤎

The result? A beautiful, cohesive finish that ties the whole space together. 👌🏼
