There has been a Viral Japanese Cheesecake doing the rounds. But I want to show you how to turn this TikTok trend into something almost or****ic with almost no extra effort! The dessert usually consists of Greek yogurt and cookies. Let's start by forgetting about boring, plain Greek yogurt!

Want to watch me make this, just comment LINK below.

😬FOOD IS TOO EXPENSIVE TO WASTE🥹💰

What do you do for zero waste? Leave your comments below.
This is what I did today, my fridge needed a big clean out because everything was looking like it was going bad😬

1. Peeled and chopped ginger into chunks and slices and put into a ziplock bag and froze
2. Juiced 5 wrinkly lemons and froze the juice.
3. Peeled and chopped turmeric into slices and put into a small ziplock bag and froze
4. blitzed 4 wrinkled large chillies and froze
5. Gathered all the bits of garlic from throughout the fridge. Planted the ones that were growing and blitzed the ones that weren't yet and froze them.
6. Blitzed the wilting yellowing kale for my smoothie.
7. Picked the mint leaves off the stem and put them in a ziplock bag for yoghurt dressings or smoothies
8. Peeled and chopped 2 brown bananas into chunks froze for smoothies
9. Peeled and sliced up a wrinkled orange that still tastes ok froze for flavoured water.
10. Sliced up 3 different types of bruised older apples that no one was eating from the fruit bowl and add them to some pears that were bruised and some that wouldn't ripen and made a BRUISED FRUIT CRUMBLE
11. Collected all the vegetables from the crisper (lol🤣 I mean rotter) and used the Thermo cutter to slice them, zucchini, carrot, eggplant potato and made a BOTTOM OF THE FRIDGE VEGE LASAGNA.

Zero cost - Zero waste - Zero shopping

If you’ve ever joined me for a cookalong over the years, I’d love you to drop a 💕 or say hi — I’d love to see who’s been cooking along with me all this time.

-have you ever felt like life just got a bit too full and something had to give? 💕

-I’m really excited to finally finish the Asian cookbook… I think you’re going to love what’s coming 🍜🥟

Hello Lovelies🩷
I need to have a quick chat with you to explain why I won’t be doing our weekly cookalong tonight. 👩‍🍳💕

I also won’t be doing the one after, as it’s my wedding anniversary. 🩷
The following Monday we’re celebrating Anais’ birthday, and then packing the car to drive to Armidale for Brett’s graduation 👨‍🎓. He has just finished his Honours in Psychology — First Class Honours. I’m so proud of him. 🎓👏🏻

As I was trying to plan our cookalongs around everything, I looked ahead… and realised that just three weeks later I’ll be in Cloncurry preparing for my eldest son’s wedding.

And that’s when it hit me.

I’ve been feeling completely run off my feet lately — and it’s because I am.

Everything I do comes from love. 🩷 I don’t regret a single moment, and I truly love our Monday nights. 👩‍🍳
But after 7 years, I have to be honest… I’m overcommitted.

I really want to finish writing 👩🏼‍💻✍️ and photographing 📸 the cookbook that is so close to being ready — “An Asian ThermoKitchen Food Journey” 🥟🍜

The reality is, my books and my website are my main income, and I haven’t been able to give them the attention they deserve for quite some time. 📉
Which means I’m not creating the fresh, exciting content I want to be sharing with you.

And I miss creating. 👩‍🍳🥲

I want to get back into the kitchen, have fun again, experiment, and share things that truly excite me — and then bring you amazing food and cookalongs when I have something fabulous to teach or share.💕

Most of what I do (about 95%) is unpaid. 😬
Thermomix income comes from selling machines and a small commission on mix shop items — and only if a sale happens that month. There’s no payment for ongoing support or running events… I do that because I genuinely want you to love your Thermomix as much as I do. 🩷

But right now, I need to shift some time back into paid projects so I can keep everything going. 💸

I’m also so excited (and slightly frustrated!) because I’m already itching to start my next book — a completely healthy cookbook 🥑🌱🍋 based on the way I now love to eat.

That’s become even more important lately, with my cholesterol needing attention and a strong family history of pre-diabetes. 🤦🏼‍♀️
The good news is my nutrition qualifications are paying off — my cholesterol is coming down, and I’m feeling amazing. 🥰
It’s a lifestyle for me now.

But first — I need to finish what I’ve started.
The Asian cookbook has some beautiful recipes that deserve to be seen, made, and enjoyed. 👅💕

So that’s where my focus is going.

Please don’t stop popping in — I’ll still be here, sharing what I’m working on and keeping things interesting. 🧪💥
MasterChef is back, so I’ll be watching along and chatting in the Thermokitchen group thread 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

I’m still here, still connected, and always happy to help if you need anything. 💕..and of course, I always want to see what you are cooking💕 especially if it's one of my recipes 😉
