Aladdin oil lamp with a metal base, turned and carved wooden pedestal, brown bakelite font. There is some wear to both font and pedestal as shown in photos and reflected in price.
Has an Aladdin Chicago Nu Type B burner, marked Aladdin chimney, new wick and unusual large wavy non Aladdin fabric shade. circa mid to late 1940's.
This Aladdin lamp burns extremely well.
Height to top of chimney 32 1/2", width of shade 24".
Mantle can be purchases separately.

Unimet GL-1 Pressure Lamp c1960, model GL-1
The Unimet pressure lantern uses gasoline/shellite and was manufactured by Union Metal Works Ltd. Hong Kong
The nickel coated brass is in excellent condition and all parts move freely and has a replacement Schotts glass globe.
The lantern burns well and comes with a copy of original instructions and part numbers

Aladdin Storm Lantern Model 1A c1950-1960s with 300CP, made in Australia by Aladdin Industries in Waterloo, New South Wales.
There is some brass showing through the nickel and some previous soldering on the font. The glass is marked Pheonix Aladdin made in England.
The lantern holds its pressure well and burns very brightly.
Production in Australia began in late 1941 or early 1942 according to records. In the Aladdin operating instructions from 1939 they say their own testing showed that the lantern burns over 17 1/2 hours on one filling (we haven't tried it).

Original candlestick silver plated oil lamp with original snuffer original blue font and matching reproduction shade. 6''' ligne Gaudard Kosmos burner and shade ring, new Kosmos wick and chimney.

Green Majolica hanging oil lamp.
This large Majolica hanging lamp is an excellent Vintage reproduction on an Art Noveau style oil lamp. The font and font carrier is a lush green decorated flowers and carrying a 14''' (ligne) Kosmos burner, chimney and wick.
The brass arms depict a Mascaron with puffed cheeks blowing 'The North Wind' with a gnome like figure grappling with his umbrella. Each arm also supports doble candle holders with six candles in total. A large opal glass shade is on a similar decorated ring.
Hanging chains carry a large counterweight with white porcelain smoke bell.
The hanging hooked top roller mechanism is also brass depicting flying fish.
The lamp has an extended length of 4' 3" from 3' 8". This is a very heavy lamp.
Lamp is in excellent condition and burns well.
Very difficult to photograph in workshop.
