The rear of Basic Elements has now been completed. The courtyard garden has been replanted (not helped by nightly visits from the Quenda’s), and the second showroom is now open. We look forward to you visiting the finally restored Basic Elements.

Basic Elements is now almost back to normal, we are open 7 days a week from 9:30 till 3. A new container from Central Java has just arrived and the shop is almost full again.

After 732 days since the devastating fire on Christmas night 2021, Basic Elements Guildford Studio is reopening tomorrow. Stock is low, but we are working hard restoring pieces and the shop will fill quite quickly. The new building has a new seperate display area, we are excited about fitting it with furniture. Still opening Thursday through to Sunday 9:30 till 4:00 for the next few weeks.

The rebuild of Basic Elements Guildford Studio is moving along at a pace now. New roof on today and looks like we may be reopening in early June with the warehouse floor being poured in two weeks.

Basic Elements is now open from the footpath from 9:30am till 3pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 173 James Street Guildford. The rebuild of the shop and café should start in the next couple of weeks.
