What a wonderful first day at the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia Junior Farmer Programme!

It was a pleasure to spend the day sharing the story of wool with so many enthusiastic students, exploring its amazing journey from farm to fashion. The students loved being able to see, touch and compare samples from the different stages of wool processing, bringing the story of this natural fibre to life.

A big thank you to Landsdale Farm for bringing along their sheep and helping create such a memorable hands-on experience for everyone.

After a quick reset, I'm looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow for Day 2!

Exciting news! Country Chicks Creations will be at the Handweavers, Spinners and Dyers Guild of Western Australia Inc. Traders Day on Saturday 13 June 2026 at Alexander Park Craft House, Menora.

I’ll be bringing a selection of fibres, kits, felting supplies and creative goodies — but not my full range. If there’s something specific you’ve been wanting, please send me a message before the event so I can make sure to pack it for you.

You can pre-order for pick up on the day, choose pick up ACPH HWSD at checkout.
Looking forward to catching up with fellow fibre lovers and supporting so many wonderful WA makers and businesses!

Just a quick reminder that I’ll be taking a little holiday break from April 29 to May 23

During this time I won’t be able to pack and post orders, but I’m so grateful for your continued support and patience while I’m away.

I’ll be back at the end of May and look forward to getting back to my super speedy postage from May 24

In 2016, I had the privilege of visiting Villers Bretonneux Australian National Memorial and Tyne Cot Cemetery, Passchendaele, Flanders, Belgium - places of quiet reflection and the final resting place of so many who gave everything.
This ANZAC Day, I had the true privilege of creating a wreath for a Veteran whose service spans far beyond his own years in uniform. A man who not only gave so much himself, but who also endured the unimaginable loss of three of his children, each of whom paid the ultimate sacrifice in their service.

It was an honour to create something in remembrance of such courage, sacrifice, and enduring love. Lest We Forget.

So grateful for two wonderful days with FIGS Felters in the Great Southern group, teaching my 'White to WOW' workshop.
It is always such a privilege to spend time with a room full of creative minds - watching each participant explore new techniques, take creative risks, and bring their own unique pieces to life. No two works were the same, and that's the magic of it.
Thank you for such a warm, inspiring experience - I loved every minute!

I’m so excited to be heading down to teach at FIGS Felters in the Great Southern this April

If you’re in the Albany region, you’re welcome to place a pre-order and save on postage — simply select the FIGS pickup option at checkout and collect your order in person from Bornholm Kronkup Hall (Lower Denmark Road) between 3pm – 5pm on Sunday 19th April 2026.

I will have a small pop up shop, but can not bring everything so if there is something you would like me to have on the day please message me well in advance.

Exciting News!!
I’m absolutely delighted to be heading to Albany to teach my White to Wow workshop with FIGS Felters in the Great Southern on 18–19 April 2026.

Over two creative days we’ll transform white wool into a beautiful hand-felted scarf, then bring it to life with colour using expressive dye techniques. I can’t wait to share this process with you!
