Tip of the week: Yes, you need to do this, we all need a drink!

By the time your flower bouquet is wrapped, and you are walking out the door those stems will need to be re-cut to get the longest life out of your flowers.

Don’t think that just because we have cut the stems, they are fine to put straight in water, please take a minute to re-cut the stems and your flowers will thank you for it.

TIP OF THE WEEK - Upcycling candle containers:

We’ve got a great tip from our candle suppliers M A C + P A T C A N D L E S for you.

Those pesky metal wick tabs at the bottom of your candle container can be hard to shift preventing the container from being re-used.

Get your hair dryer out and heat up the glue at the bottom of the container, grab a knife (not sharp) or screwdriver and flick the tab out – voila! A bit of a wash to get the last of the glue off and it is good to go.

We don’t have our flowers displayed outside the shop because the quality is affected by exhaust fumes, wind, and sunshine. Instead, we keep them in store, so you get longer vase life, and our flowers are the best quality and as fresh as possible.
