A lovely Saturday in the shop today, the Crafternoon table was full and the workshop room was busy with Pauline Franklyn and her gorgeous stitchers.❤️❤️

We are excited to add the 3-trad Strikkegarn from Rauma Garn to our range of their beautiful Norwegian wools that we stock. 😍😍😍

This is a great wooly yarn consisting of 3 strands twisted together, creating a light weight 8ply that knits up hardy wearing and warm fabrics.

Rauma Garn have been producing this yarn since 1927 so it has stood the test of time, and is perfect for traditional Nordic colourwork knits and other outer layers.

It is quite a rustic feeling wool, you can add a thread of mohair/silk or alpaca/silk to add softness if you prefer.

We have added the new stock to the online shop, you can find it in the New Arrivals menu.

Our Rauma Finull pigeon holes looking lovely and colourful today after a lovely restock from Rauma Garn including Finull, Fivel, Vams and 3-Trads (a new one for us, more about this one soon) .😍

Clare’s colour work story scarf is made using Finull and is looking gorgeous, not too much more to do on it now!

I started a cute sock the other day, and I love all those tiny neon neps popping through. 😍😍😍

I like this neon tweedy look, I dyed this pink colour to test out how the new base looked, and I think I’ll dye up some more in a range of cute colours .
Hopefully have some in the shop soon. I have some fluorescent dyes that I love, so I think they will be the first ones to dye up.

I’ve actually been doing a lot of dyeing lately, mainly for my advent sets, but also for some new colours for our shop, I forgot how fun it is to create new colourways. 🩷🧡❤️💙🩵💚

Have a great Friday peeps, we have a big restock of Rauma Garn arriving today or Monday, and need to make some space, so a fun day ahead in the shop. 😘

The Knitting for Olive KNITTING FOR OLIVE shelves are looking nice and full again after a new shipment arrived yesterday.😍

I have updated the online inventory, so hopefully it is all correct for now.

We have lots of Merino and Mohair colours back in stock. So many gorgeous project options! I’m thinking of putting together some kits with Knitting for Olive patterns and yarns, it’s just hard to decide which one to start with!

We have just added the August batch of Scrappy Packs to the online shop.🎉
We have 4ply and 8ply packs this month, and they can be found in the New Arrivals menu.

Also, just letting everyone know we are closing sign ups for our Happy Happy Joy Joy 2026 Yarn Advents later this week, so last call for this! All the info is in the online shop about what we are offering this year. ❤️🩷💚🩵💙🧡

Hello Saturday! And day 1 of August!
I’m excited to see what the new month will bring.😊

Tracey Tracey Stuart is looking fabulous in her latest finished knit, an amazing jumper dress made in Noro Silk garden and mohair silk. So good! 😍😍

Clare has been busy today adding new yarns to the online shop, we have a lot of yarns that have never been added, so it’s time to catch up and get everything listed!
We have quite a few new natural,non superwash yarns, including Lana Ecologica from Sesia Yarns, a new one in the shop. 😊😊
It is a soft wool/ alpaca blend , non superwash, with the earthy colours created by blending the different shades of natural sheep wool and alpaca wool.🐑🦙

It is a gorgeous squishy 10ply, and I’m looking forward to getting some in my needles.
They can be found in the New arrivals menu if you are interested in having a look. ❤️😍😘

I’m having some Sunday morning knitting fun working on this cute Azurine Cowl, pattern by Ambah: Knitting patterns 🧶 ❤️❤️
This is the perfect palette cleansing project when I need a break from my big knits. I’m loving this combo of Renee Hahnel mohair silk aRenee HahnelFOR OLIVE merino,KNITTING FOR OLIVEoping to have it finished in a few days, then I might just have to start another one in a different colour combo, there are just too many great colour possibilities to try out! 😊😊❤️❤️

It’s a lovely clear day here, so time to put the knitting away and get into the garden. 🌱🌱
