New owner, same Jack’s Glass

Chad has run Jack’s Glass for more than 16 years. He’s always gone above and beyond, looking after his customers and his team, and that’s why the business has the reputation it has today.

As of 1 October, Chad has handed the business over to me, Josh. Chad’s sticking around and is still on the tools, so you’ll still see him out on jobs, and the whole team you know and trust is staying on. Same faces, same number, same 24 hour emergency service.

My job is simple, keep providing the service you’ve all come to know and expect from Jack’s Glass.

From Chad “Thank you to everyone who’s supported Jack’s Glass over the last 16 years. The business is in good hands, and I’m looking forward to still being part of it.”

We look forward to continuing to look after the Fraser Coast for all your glazing, security screens and wardrobes. And if you see us out on a job, come and say g’day.

Pets have a habit of wanting to be on the opposite side of the door five minutes after you close it.
A well-planned pet door can make daily life easier while your screen continues to provide airflow and insect protection. Jack’s Glass and Security will look at the door, the screen product and your pet before recommending an option, because one size does not suit every household.

Arrange a free measure and quote for your Hervey Bay home.

Not every opening needs a security screen, and it is better to choose the right product than oversell the wrong one. Insect flyscreens are designed to keep mosquitoes, flies and other pests out while allowing fresh air through.
Security screens have a different job and must meet Australian Standards for forced-entry resistance.

Jack’s Glass and Security can help you decide where standard insect gauze is enough and where a tested Prowler Proof security screen is the smarter choice.

A pet door works best when it is planned as part of the screen door, not added as an afterthought. The size of your pet, the height of the opening, the screen type and the way your household uses the doorway all matter.
Jack’s Glass and Security can install pet door options in suitable Prowler Proof screen doors and help you choose a practical position for cats, small dogs or larger family pets.

Start with a proper measure and a conversation about how the door will be used every day.

A character home deserves a screen door that respects its style.
Prowler Proof Heritage screen doors combine traditional decorative appeal with modern manufacturing, giving Queenslanders, cottages and classic entries a more considered alternative to a plain contemporary screen.

Jack’s Glass and Security can help you select a design and powder-coat colour that works with the proportions and personality of your home.

Security screens, glass, aluminium doors, windows, shower screens, mirrors and splashbacks all affect how your home looks and works.

That is where Jack’s Glass and Security is handy. We are not just here for one opening or one product. We can look at the bigger picture and help you plan practical upgrades across your home, from security doors and window screens to glass replacement and glazing work.

For Hervey Bay and Wide Bay homeowners, start with one local team and a free measure and quote.

Want a window screen that can open when you need access for cleaning, but still gives you strong security when closed?

Prowler Proof hinge window security screens are available in ForceField and Protec options, with multi-point locking hardware designed for secure, practical everyday use. They are especially useful where homeowners want a cleaner, easier way to manage window security without making maintenance awkward.

Ask Jack’s Glass and Security whether hinge window screens are suitable for your home’s windows.
