Not firewood, not plastic, made from salvaged macrocarpa, these 13 Stump lights are taking their mood lighting effect to a hotel Project in France. There are some pretty cool ones in this batch. Video description: a man is central to the camera frame, he talks. In a workshop environment with a table of tree stumps with crack like fissures in each one, the tops are polished and oiled, showcasing the rings of timber grain. Each stump is approximately 40cm in height and each has quite a different profile. The camera pans across the 13 stump lights and back to him wearing a yellow and black down vest, blue jumper and hand made green beanie.

from 3 years ago at ‘light Forest’. Image descriptions: series of. tree vessels with cracks radiating out of each stump and trunk sum of 40 cm high. Some range between 1 m and 2 m in height.. some photos are taken during late afternoon and sunset and summer are taken as it’s darker…. Some photos have people around them giving the overall context for size… The light installation is arranged somewhat like a forest clearing or circle of stones., with the Light interacting in Waze similar to the Light throne by the dappling effects of Forrest canopies.

Packing up the ‘Wild Light’ exhibition at cradle Mountain this weekend. Thanks to for having this showcase over the last few months. Here is a video. Video description: a man with black trousers green jumper and blue flat cap sits on top of a tree stump.. he sits under a decorative light about 1 m in diameter with petal inspired blades shading a central bulb. The tree here sitting on has light going from multiple crack like fishes radiating around the tree stump section, there are multiple Stump lights scattered around the floor of a similar height to about 40 cm… And three human sized trunk lights each also with cracks running up the length with light radiating from these fishes. The room also has an A-frame styled hanging structure with multiple further propeller and floral inspired light shades hanging from it., and smaller products on the table including a lily inspired reading light and bankers lights with a log shade twist.

Looking forward to participating in this pop up market at , celebrating 10 years. Come down and meet some different socially and ethically minded enterprises/ businesses. … image description: The image is an announcement for a “Pop up Market!” event.
