What to do on a quiet Friday afternoon but read? Yes I know, such willpower when I could quite easily be snoozing on the couch 😆
In this case I’m looking at a ‘Back To Inglewood Centenary Week’ booklet from 1961. Nixons, where our store is now, operated a business at each end of Brooke Street. So many interesting pieces of information eg. 1873 was not the best year as Scarlet Fever was prevalent and swarms of locusts destroyed all verdure (green vegetation).

It’s sooo good …… following the aroma of coffee as you enter the Bendigo Pottery ☕️
Hats off to Bek at Bek’s Bites! It’s wonderful to see friends and family catching up over a cuppa and cake. And visitors able to sit, sip and recharge before they visit the Antiques & Collectables Centre or before they leave for the trip home. Thanks to all those who made purchases from us this month. I love having to fill the empty spaces.
