✨ Trying out the decorative wire wrapping using aluminium instead of copper. Definitely a lot easier on the fingers. This is 12ga and it's quite chunky which is good for larger pieces but think I might get thinner gauge for smaller bits...wip!!!

✨✨🐛 This weekend's WIP (Whimsy in Progress)...
a very cute little caterpillar pot plant stick!

This is the third design that I've tried out and I'm stoked with how everything went except the antennae. On this prototype I ended up using 26ga wire but it's too thin to give it any stability. Thicker wires were just a bit too unwieldy to get my idea to work so think I'll need to keep trying....another addition for my garden, methinks!!! 😉

UPDATE: After much frustration and cursing I have finally created a technique for the antennae that works. Keep a lookout for more caterpillars to come...
