This beautiful image is a collagraph, by friend & local artist Machteld Hali.
Machteld is having an exhibition at The old Fire Station in Kiama 4-9 September. The show is called ROUND and features a collection of her recent works. I’ve been lucky enough to spend time in the studio with Machteld, and I’ve seen some of these pieces come to life.
Opening drinks are Saturday 5 Sept, 2pm-4pm. Might see you there? Looking forward to it.

Really enjoyed a visit to The Garden Gallery at the Royalbotanicalgardenssydney today to see a gorgeous exhibition called 14 Artists. It finishes tomorrow I’m sad to say otherwise I’d say it’s a must go see!

For your diary... in Kiama at the Old Firestation Gallery, friend and artist Machteld Hali is exhibiting her marvellous collagraphs, definitely worth having a look 4 -9 Sept. I was lucky enough to be in her studio as Machteld was working on these, and it's fabulous to see them come to life. I'll be at the opening on Saturday 5 Sept 2-4pm.

‘Layers’ is now open at Tiliqua Tiliqua and I popped in earlier today for a quiet look. It’s a fabulous show. About 90 amazing, inspiring pieces of art.
Kate and Felix were still finalising the set up when I arrived, so I got a bit of behind the scenes action.… I am so impressed by the care and thoughtfulness that goes into hanging each and every individual artwork. To have the art complement each other, where and how they are placed really matters. I’m delighted to have two items in this printmaker show, hope you can make time for a look, opening drinks are Saturday 22/8 (4-6 pm) and the show is on till Sept 7.

Delighted and excited to have 2 works in the new printmaker exhibition at Tiliqua Tiliqua, from Thursday 20 August to 7 Sept.
The theme is Layers, a perfect fit for reduction Lino cut prints, as it’s all about the layers of colour, print and carving. And repeat.
Hope you can get along for a look… opening celebrations on Saturday 22 August 4-6pm.

Correspondences is a show by The Curators · Augustin Doublet where an open call worldwide resulted in thousands of postcards landing on these gallery walls in Paris!
I sent in 3 collaged postcards - found 2 & still hunting for number 3!
If you’re in Paris, do go see, it’s spectacular! 20 Rue Meslay, in the Marais. The works are all for sale.
