Kalbarri is not exactly off the normal tourist route neither is the gorge, this said we managed to find some old lead mines further up the Murchison River. I won't give the location of the mines as the ground is very unstable and there are shafts and portals everywhere. My wife Samantha has taken most of these pictures :)
