Meet another of our long term members! 🙋‍♀️

Chris Davidson (Kiah Cottage Crafts) has been with The Nook Leura for about 28 years.

Chris is a talented sewer and her items have varied over the almost 3 decades she has been here. Chris has many items which she produces in her Katoomba home ~ but some of her most popular items today include wheat packs, pot trivets, baby singlets and bibs, hand towels, hair scrunchies, tea/coffee purse packs, tea cosies and many other items for the home.

Chris is also a mum to two adult children, grandma to one and runs another local business with her husband.

Come in soon to see Chris's current range of items. We are open all weekend and every day from 9:30am to 4:30pm. 🙂

Two of the most common things we hear as visitors step inside The Nook Leura are... "What a beautiful shop!" and... "Such clever people!" We love what we do and our passion for our craft shines through our work. We have 5 rooms brimming with quality work by our Blue Mountains artists!

After five years of membership ~ one of our woodturners Stephen Hawkins is leaving us at the end of October.

If you would like to grab one of Stephen's beautiful serving boards, popular comfort crosses, handy utensils or any of his other stunning items you only have a couple of weeks before they are gone.

All of us at The Nook Leura are sad to see Stephen go and will miss him. The members of The Nook Leura thank Stephen very much for the contribution he has made over the last five years and wish him all the very best for the future. 🙂🪵

After some early morning rain the skies cleared for a stunning weekend for the annual Leura Fair. 🎈
