There are a couple of block of the month projects commencing in the first half of next year - both very different techniques - but each equally lovely.
Some of you may have seen the new block of the month programme recently.. featuring Tula's - it is a really pretty project - suitable for those with an intermediate skill level.
Techniques include fussy cutting, sew and flip corners and foundation paper piecing.
Numbers will be limited - so please let me know if you are interested.
The fabrics are fabulous - the hero print is a tall growing vine in two colourways featuring sweet little creatures up and down the vines.. coordinates include tiny bees, ladybirds, giant moths, snails, mushrooms/toadstools..

There’s been the odd box or two of fabrics arrive this week - but I think my favourite is by .

So many delightful florals and colour ways combine to make the stunning .
This quilt measures 70”x 70”.

I have loads on the go - all the time - but every now and then I sneak a couple of these little appliqué blocks in. by .
Thought you may like to see my progress so far.. over half way now 🥳
Small easy blocks - which are quick to do.
I’m using fabrics - and - my favourite method 😊.

Today saw the final stitch in my by - using beautiful and needle turn appliqué 💕

Classes have begun for this beautiful quilt - but I do have space for another if you would like to join us. It is a monthly class… with a bit of homework to keep you going!

It’s that time again - is on again this Saturday, 3rd October from 10am - 3pm.

Join us for a day of inspiration, stitching, chat and more..
Last month, one of the ladies was working on a block of the month project.. which in turn inspired me to pick up one (🙄) of mine..

Thought you might like to see how my project is progressing - using wool fabric for the backgrounds and flowers, fabrics for the baskets, and for the embroidery - all available in store..

As always tea/coffee etc provided on Saturday.

Today I finished a top I’ve been creating over the last couple of weeks.
quilt pattern and fabrics by with fabrics from several collections including , , , and - all available in store.. while they last 😬
The quality of these fabrics is fabulous, just lovely to work with 🥰

Happy second day of Spring - the flowering plum trees over the road are in full bloom, the weather is on the improve (although there are big winds on the way).. the days are stretching again, and I have another quilt almost pieced🎉
This coming Saturday, - 5th September is Springtime - so if you would like to join in - please let me know.
We start at 10am - and finish at 3pm. All day tea and coffee etc are provided.
This is not a teaching day - but I'm here if you get stuck 😊

July has tiptoed away - almost - which means that is on again… this Saturday, 1st August from 10am - 3pm.

It’s been a busy July.. family visiting from afar, a special birthday, lots of rain, shuffling fabrics in the shop, lots of new bits in the shop, an unexpected dunk in the creek whilst clearing debris washed downstream in the rain (my neighbour now calls me “The Mermaid” 🧜‍♀️ catching up with old friends.. and so it goes.

A little stitching on my next block of the by on wool with fabrics for the baskets, and - all available in store.

As always, tea/coffee etc provided on Saturday.

Can’t believe today is the last day of June - which means is on again… this Saturday, 4th July from 10am till 3pm.

I’m reaching the end of one of my favourite quilt tops - by - a class I used to run prior to my .
My quilt is done using early - needle turn appliqué 💕

Classes will commence for this fabulous quilt in the near future.
Unfortunately the book containing the pattern for this quilt is now out of print - however, I do have a few copies available for class members.
