🎙️ SMOKE & SOUL SATURDAYS – EPISODE 33

Well… this is it.

The final episode of Smoke & Soul Saturdays, and this time next week the smokers will be fired up and the Smoke & Soul Project will officially be underway.

As I recorded this episode, I found myself reflecting on just how far this project has come. What started as an idea almost a year ago, and officially launched over the October long weekend, has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined.

Together, we’ve raised just under $31,500. That support will help us travel more than 7,000 kilometres, host 20 BBQ events in 57 days, and hand out thousands of free meals to Australians doing it tough.

Smoke & Soul Sunday’s Episode 31 ❤️🔥

As we get closer to departure day, I wanted to share something that’s been sitting heavy on my heart…

Yes — this project is about feeding people doing it tough around Australia.
Yes — it’s about giving away warm BBQ meals, jackets, shoes, clothes and supplies to people who need a hand this winter.

But it’s also about something bigger.

I hope this journey inspires someone out there to stop letting fear hold them back.

For a long time, I worried about what people thought.
I worried about failing.
I worried about putting myself out there.

But deep down, I knew I had to chase something meaningful.

And if this crazy idea of towing smokers around Australia to feed strangers can inspire even ONE person to back themselves, follow their passion, start that business, take that risk, chase that dream… then this project has already succeeded.

I want my girls to grow up believing they can do anything.
I want them to know it’s okay to dream big.
It’s okay to be scared.
And it’s okay to step outside your comfort zone anyway.

• Essentials for those doing it tough this winter

Today we had the pleasure of having lunch at . 🔥

The food was absolutely incredible, but what meant even more to us was the kindness and support shown towards the Smoke & Soul Project. Thank you so much to the team at Wildfire BBQ for the amazing gift pack and for getting behind our journey around Australia to help feed the homeless and those doing it tough.

It’s support like this that reminds us what the BBQ community is all about — generosity, mateship, and bringing people together over good food. We’re so grateful for your support.
