Part two of our Rowville renovation is done, and this one was all about the lighting.

When the homeowners came to us mid-renovation, they had a clear idea of how they wanted the place to look and feel. We sat down with them early, worked through every fitting together, and installed the lot: pendant lights over the kitchen island, a brass chandelier in the living room, an alfresco ceiling fan and external wall lights around the property.

Every fitting was installed, tested and certified to current Australian standards.

This is the part we enjoy most. It is not just wiring and cables; it is helping people end up with a home they love walking into.

Progress update: electrical rough-in on a large new brick home in Berwick.

We met the clients on site this week to walk them through where things are at. With the frame up, we've now roughed in the lot: lighting throughout, ducted A/C, an EV charger, security alarm, CCTV, intercom and projector speakers, plus FTA TV points and smart wiring for the external and garden lighting.

The rough-in is the stage that disappears behind the plaster, so it's the part worth getting right first. Every cable is planned around how the family will actually live in the home, all done by a licensed electrician to current Australian standards.

Residential and multi-residential electrical maintenance

We recently completed a full maintenance and compliance visit at a Toorak property: underground garage LED lighting, external garden and security lighting, smoke alarm testing, exit and emergency lighting checks, and a switchboard safety inspection. All tested and certified to current Australian standards.

Called out first thing Monday to a rental in Springvale

A property manager rang us about an electrical issue at one of their rentals, so we got a team on site first thing to find it. Turned out to be loose cabling running into a safety switch at the switchboard.

We made it safe, tested the safety switches to confirm they were tripping properly, and re-tightened every connection across the board, all tested to current Australian standards before we left.

If you own or manage a rental, a quick safety check catches faults like this before they turn into an after-hours emergency.
