I took myself on a bookshop wander yesterday for Love Your Bookshop Day 2026.
Did I make it past two bookshops? No, which probably isn't a bad thing 🫢
Nevertheless, I enjoyed my time at boundlessbooks.au in Leederville and Planet Books in Northbridge.

Did I add to my collection of books? ABSOLUTELY 🤗 I think I did quite well.
I treated myself to a couple of classics.
Five of seven books are by Australian authors.
Two absolutely stunning special editions. And can we just take a moment to appreciate the beauty of The Natural Way of Things by Charlotte Wood, Writer and The Lost Flowers of Alice Heart by 🦋 Holly Ringland 🦋 😍💐

I even bumped into the fabulous Rachael Johns and Anthea Hodgson. Day made! 😊😊😊

This week has seen a restock of magnets and photo products at Dazza's Plants & Gifts
And yes, I have now added Christmas cards to my collection.
Keep an eye out, as there will be more stock coming, with a few Christmas gift ideas, along with more Christmas cards.

Are you looking for a cute gift idea?
I have six hand made resin keychains available for purchase.
Yes, I tried my hand at resin, but it's not for me. These were fun to create, but have been the only resin creations I have braved.
Once these are gone, there will be no more available, so don't miss out!

Welcome to October!
The next couple of months are quite busy.
With the end of the Australian school year approaching, alongside Christmas preparations, things can become hectic.
To this end, I have decided to share some reminders of upcoming events that you may like to add to your calendar, just in case you need a special gift or card prepared.
World Teachers Day is Friday October 30th. If you would like a card or personalised gift created for a teacher you know, please contact me. I will have some time to create between now and the last week of this month, but don't leave it too late.
I also have a few items ready for purchase. If you would like to see these, please message me for details.

I had some fun creating this birthday card for my son.
Based on a 'Magic the Gathering' card, the choice of Avarrix Pty Ltd | Premium Paper and Office Products holographic sticker vinyl and Cricut Australia & New Zealand Metallic Textured vinyl added texture and layers.

It's always so wonderful to see my beautiful friend Sam from Mandala Skies
I was fortunate enough to catch up with Sam at today's Meet The Maker markets as part of the City of Mandurah Arts Festival.
Sam designed and hand created this fabulous Mandurah inspired mandala, and it was set up for the public to add colours to.
I couldn't leave without adding my little touch ♥️
