Just finished a 40m job with a 9 metre hallway, a very challenging walk in robe and 6 bedrooms all in a day and half all before a short break.

Currently going on holidays from 11th July until 28th July.

Feel good Friday moments. Today's job had 3 rooms, hallway and 2 flights of stairs , carpet was delayed getting here so put a big day in so the customer could move into their new house over the weekend.

Recently laid carpet tiles in a very important part of the US embassy such a honour and great experience.

Been pretty busy this past week, couple of the recent jobs Axminster carpet in a study (type of carpet you find in cinemas or pubs) very long lasting. Also had a theatre room with a stage both jobs very happy customers.

Recently drove up to Brisbane from Canberra to lay 60m of carpet for the new Harvey Norman showroom at MacGregor. Challenging being such a big job by myself with the logistics of getting all the carpet up in an elevator and the long walk but made it happen and very rewarding once completed. Approx 3 months before the new Homemaker centre is opened which will have Harvey Norman, Domain, Carpet court and a few other shops

Settled into Canberra nicely with the professionalism still key this was one of the bigger jobs I've had down here 60m with stairs, stage and big hallway with some feature work around balustrating definitely not an issue.

One of my last jobs for the year was an Aximinster carpet job (carpet you generally see in pubs/ cinema) loungeroom hallway and a separate bedroom with big patterns which ment extra carpet needed to allow to match it all perfectly.

As the year draws to an end I would just like to say thank you to everyone who I have supplied my services to throughout the year.

Also as from the start of January myself and family will be moving to Canberra. I'll still be laying carpets just in a completely different state.

Recently had a sunken loungeroom that required a lot of skill and knowledge to make it look spectacular. 90 degree corner with patten sizle carpet was very challenging, along with wall coving and the open side step. The customer was over the moon once it was all complete.

HERE IT IS :)
Open sided staircase instead of turning and tacking the edges I was able to go the extra step overlock the edges and bullnose the staircase giving it the extra 😲 factor .
Over 6 hours just laying the stairs and 2 hrs in the prep work. The customer was over the moon with the end result. See the team at Browns Plains Flooring Xtra for all your flooring needs.

Been a busy few weeks with a lot of new houses being built and ready for carpet. Recently had a job where the customer wanted to transform the stairs to make it more accessible for their furry friend. Stairs looked great with their choice of a nice wool carpet and dense underlay.

I'm currently heading overseas for 2 weeks from the 28th March until the 12th April so any calls or msgs I shall get back to you when I'm back.
