I don’t usually talk about the harder parts of running a small business on here.

Not because I’m trying to hide them... I just think I’ve always loved that this little corner of Instagram feels like an escape. Beautiful homes, beautiful craftsmanship …

But there have been a lot of hard parts lately.

And then completely out of the blue, a beautiful customer DM’d to show me her pendants installed and then wrote this.

Knowing that you feel proud to have Her Hands in your homes means more than you will ever know.

So just a thank you... For trusting us with your homes. For sharing your photos with me. And for taking the time to write messages like these.

You honestly have no idea how much they mean 🫶🏽

I’ve been quiet here again I know - but it’s been so busy behind the scenes…

Your response to the release of our Clay Wall Light collection has been incredible - thank you 🙏🏽.

Our first shipment has almost sold before it has arrived, and we can’t wait to see some of the spaces they’re going into come to life. Seriously 🙌🏽

We’re currently taking orders on our next shipment - lead times vary between styles and are on the website.

As they are handmade in small batches we don’t yet have production dates beyond our August shipment, so lead times after that are to be confirmed.

For me, Her Hands has always been about more than bringing you beautiful lights - it’s about creating pieces that people connect with deeply enough to ‘feel’ and share the story behind them too.

Thank you for supporting these women, their craft and this little global village of ours.

I really wasn’t sure how our Bespoke Woven Pendants would be received when we first brought them out, to be honest.

How on earth I would be able to sell one-of-a-kind pieces online… But they were too beautiful to not try.

So the way you have embraced them over the past couple of weeks in particular has filled my heart. While they look pretty as pairs, I have just loved seeing your orders for beautiful groupings that mix and match tones and weaves that really celebrate their uniqueness.

It takes us a while to work through your selections for these, but they’re nearly all ready to go and will be dispatched in the coming days.

And a reminder that our Sale ends on Friday - after that we’ll be back to full pricing 🤎
