Kings, travellers, animals and cypress trees move across this Persepolis-inspired Qalamkar much as they do on ancient Persian reliefs. Printed entirely by hand using carved wooden blocks, every mark carries the subtle variations that only human craftsmanship can create. The result is a textile rich in character, connecting centuries of Persian artistry with contemporary interiors.

Some traditions never lose their light.

Handprinted using natural colours on premium calico cotton, these Qalamkar textiles have been part of Persian life for centuries. Each pattern begins with a carved wooden block, pressed by hand in a process that rewards patience and precision.

We work with a workshop whose history spans more than a century, helping preserve a craft where every impression carries the mark of the maker.

Rich in detail yet easy to live with, these versatile pieces bring colour, character, and a sense of heritage to the home.

Beneath the wide skies of the plains of Khorasan, Kurmanji Kurdish nomads trace their seasonal migration through a sea of wild spring poppies. Packed alongside the caravan are their resilient flat-woven kilims, like the traditional Sofreh Kordi. Woven entirely from memory on portable ground looms using hand-spun wool, these textiles feature bold geometric lozenges. Every piece is built for the rigors of nomadic utilityโ€”serving as protective mats or bread wrappers. It is a living craft where functional design is forged entirely on the move.

Pure, saturated fields of colour ๐ŸŽจ๐ŸŒฟ

Our latest collection of contemporary Mazandaran Kilims strips away traditional motifs to focus entirely on clean, block colour. Across these pieces, the palette moves from deep plum and rich forest greens to serene tonal blues, bringing a crisp, sophisticated warmth to modern spaces.

There is a wonderful sense of freedom in nomadic weaving.

Patterns evolve through memory, improvisation and generations of tradition, creating pieces that feel deeply personal while remaining unmistakably connected to place.

This Afshar rug, woven from handspun wool and natural dyes, carries the bold geometry and enduring character that have made these weavings so admired.

A joyful expression of craftsmanship and cultural memory.

A rug isn't only for where life happens.

Sometimes it's for the moments in between: the walk upstairs, the pause at a landing, the spaces we move through every day.

There is a quiet mystery to many Baluch rugs.

Perhaps it is their deep colours.
Perhaps it is their geometric repetition.
Or perhaps it is the sense that these pieces were woven with meanings that extend beyond decoration.

This vintage Baluch runner is no exception.

Few weaving traditions embrace simplicity as confidently as Gabbeh.

At first glance, the composition feels effortless: a saturated red field, softened by geometric forms in green, peach, and gold. Look closer, and the finely woven kilim borders reveal another level of craftsmanship, bringing structure and precision to the rugโ€™s playful spirit.
