🌟 How to increase your toddler’s appetite? (Tips to increase your toddler's appetite!)
One common issue many parents face is toddlers being reluctant to eat. I would like to share some important points I have learned about the appetite and daily routine of children around my daughter's age.
Try these things to make your child's mealtime easy and enjoyable:
✅ Set a scheduled time for meals: Instead of grazing throughout the day, providing meals at set times will help your child feel hungry.
✅ Serve small portions: A child might feel intimidated by a large plate of food. Therefore, serve food in very small portions.
✅ Make mealtime enjoyable: Do not force-feed. Instead of making mealtime a contest or a punishment, sit down together as a family and eat happily.
✅ Involve them: Let your child help out with little tasks while cooking or setting the table. Children are more interested in eating what they have helped create.
✅ Keep exposing them to new foods: It is okay if they reject a new food the first time. Keep adding it to their plate repeatedly. Generally, a child may need to try a new food 10–15 times before getting used to it.
Another very important thing is to remove distractions like the television, tablets (tabs), or other things that divert their attention while eating.
