Our shades are lovingly handcrafted by our small, skilled community of artisans in Bali. As a label we have a deep belief that faster isn't always better and our shades are created one step at a time, with hands not machines.

Tadao Ando’s architecture is built on restraint/ raw concrete, pure geometry and empty space. Yet his buildings never feel static. He treats light, wind and water as materials themselves. The architecture stays still, our perception of it does not. That is the quiet power of his work, what is absent becomes as important as what is built.

The same thinking extends beyond architecture into furniture and interior design. A timeless object doesn’t need complexity, but a form considered enough to let material, proportion and light complete it. It’s a principle we return to when designing our shades: the object is only the beginning, light gives it life.
