Not a new house. A new chapter. ✨

A little sneak peek at our design concept for a project currently under construction in Melbourne’s Bayside.

We’re giving this existing home an elevated new lease of life with a modern Mediterranean aesthetic — warm natural textures, soft earthy tones, beautiful stone, considered joinery and plenty of relaxed, timeless character.

The aim is to create a home that feels refined but relaxed, sophisticated but inviting — and, most importantly, designed around the way our clients want to live today.

This kitchen is just one glimpse of what’s taking shape behind the scenes. We can’t wait to share more as the project comes together.

And while we’re busy bringing this one to life, we’re also looking ahead to what’s next. There’s just one opportunity remaining in our 2026 design calendar for a new project — perhaps it could be yours.

A little coastal reset… and a LOT of design inspiration. 🌊☀️
A few days in Queensland reminded me why I’m so drawn to coastal architecture — the light, the relaxed materials, the connection between inside and out and that effortless sense of living.
Add in long beach walks, beautiful coastal homes, plenty of downtime with family (and a very happy dog 🐾) and it’s hard not to come home feeling inspired.
Because great design isn’t just about how a home looks. It’s about creating a life that feels good to live in.
And sometimes stepping away from the studio is exactly what sparks the next idea.
If you love sophisticated, individual interiors with a strong connection to how you actually live, follow along Style Precinct | Interior Designer Melbourne — there’s plenty more design inspiration coming.

STOP SCROLLING — would you swim through your house? 🌊
This Queensland coastal home takes indoor–outdoor living to another level.
The pool doesn’t just sit beside the house — it becomes part of the architecture, flowing from the balcony into the first floor, wrapping around the staircase and continuing into an external water feature.
It’s the kind of design that makes you stop and look twice. And that’s what great design should do.
For me, it’s a reminder that the most memorable interiors aren’t always about adding more. They’re about thinking differently about how spaces connect, how we move through them and how architecture can become an experience.
Would you live with a pool running through your home? 👇

What if your home felt as bold and unforgettable as the places you’ve travelled?

This isn’t a showroom. It’s a real family home in Brighton, designed for clients who wanted to leave beige behind and create a home that sparks joy every single day.

From the sculptural black coffee table to the jewel-toned velvet, vibrant rug and playful pops of colour, every piece was carefully curated to feel sophisticated, timeless and deeply personal. Because luxury doesn’t have to whisper. Sometimes, it sings.

If you’ve been saving colourful interiors but telling yourself “I’m not sure I could live with that,” this is your sign that you absolutely can—with the right design strategy.

I’m passionate about helping homeowners create homes that reflect who they are, not what everyone else is doing.

✨ Planning a renovation or furnishing project for late 2026? I have limited availability for projects across Melbourne’s Bayside, Brighton, the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding suburbs. One vine. Four seasons. A completely different feeling.

From lush green leaves creating a cool summer canopy... to fiery reds that announce autumn... to the quiet beauty of winter when every branch becomes a sculptural silhouette.

It’s a reminder that the best homes aren’t static—they evolve with the seasons and invite us to slow down and notice them.

When I design interiors, I’m never thinking only about what a home looks like on the day it’s photographed. I’m thinking about how it feels in January with doors thrown open to the garden... on a crisp winter morning with sunlight streaming in... and everything in between.

The most memorable homes have a connection to nature that changes throughout the year. That’s the kind of beauty that never goes out of style.

Would you love a vine like this over your alfresco?

Quick quiz.
3 countries. 6 doors each
Can you tell which is which?
Most people photograph the landmarks. I photograph the doors.”

A door tells you everything before you step inside.

On recent travels through Portugal, Spain and Paris, I found myself doing what I always do — slowing down, looking closer, noticing the details most people walk straight past.

The worn brass handle.
The imperfect paintwork.
The proportions.
The history held in the layers.

Good design leaves clues.

It’s often the smallest details — a threshold, an architrave, a hinge, a curve — that shape how a place feels long before the furniture arrives.

This is the same way I approach interiors: not with a signature style, but by reading the architecture, the story, and the way my clients want to live.

Because the best homes aren’t just beautiful. They feel deeply considered.

So… quick quiz:

Which doors belong to Portugal, Spain and Paris?

“June looked like this → Awards, site visits, inspiration & marmalade.”

From Sydney for the Australian Interior Design Awards — where a Style Precinct project was shortlisted in Residential Decoration — to soaking up creative inspiration at the Archibald Prize and exploring new products, materials and supplier connections at The Design Show Australia.

Then back home to Melbourne and straight onto site at Black Rock, watching months of drawings, decisions and details begin to take shape in real life.

And somewhere in between all of that? Making homemade marmalade from limes picked fresh from my garden — a small reminder that creativity and care live in the everyday too.

This is the real rhythm behind thoughtful interiors:
inspiration, craftsmanship, collaboration and translating ideas into homes that feel deeply personal.

No two Style Precinct projects ever look the same — because no two clients, homes or lifestyles are the same.

If you’re planning a renovation, heritage restoration or new build and want a home that feels considered, layered and uniquely yours, now is the time to start.

From tree to table… 🍋✨

After sharing my little backyard orchard (and welcoming so many new faces here), it felt only right to put this season’s limes to good use—homemade lime marmalade. The first time I’ve made & its sooooo goooood!!!

There’s something deeply satisfying about growing, picking and creating with what’s around you. It’s those small rituals at home that bring a sense of connection and enjoyment to everyday life.

It’s something I think about often in design too—not just how spaces look, but how they support the way we live in them. The kitchen, the garden, the moments in between.

For me right now, it’s a warm kitchen, the scent of citrus on the stove, and jars of marmalade lined up on the bench.

What’s your favourite ritual at home? ⬇️

Take a wander through@my little backyard orchard 🍋🍊 These wine barrel planters filled with mandarins, oranges, lemons and limes have transformed a corner of my backyard into a productive and beautiful space. The fragrance, colour and simple pleasure of picking fresh fruit make them one of my favourite design decisions.

Because the best spaces aren’t just designed to look good—they’re designed to be enjoyed.

Do you grow your own citrus? I’d love to know your favourite variety. ⬇️
