This Tuesdays quilt is very special! A fabulous 1880 hand pieced Tumbling Blocks quilt. Such a wonderful design. The maker has expertly arranged their light, medium & dark prints. I absolutely love it!

I’ve made several hexagon projects but never a Tumbling Block. How about you. What is your preferred hexagon based design?

On my lap this Monday is my final appliqué border for my Farmer’s Wife quilt. I take long breaks away from this, not because I done enjoy it, because I do! The issue is I’m easily distracted 🤭

So today I’m stitching this … tomorrow probably not 🤣 but she will eventually be finished 🙏🏻

I’m very proud to say that together we raised $2500 for for the Cancer Council yesterday with our Cutting Cloth Biggest Morning Tea event. Thank you to everyone who participated and to those of you who couldn’t make it but donated all the same. A wonderful day! 🙏🏻❤️

Now this one is truely outstanding! Following up from last week with another Rocky Mountain or New York Beauty design. I know every week I say I love this quilt … but I REALLY love this quilt! The colours are great, the quilting is playful and the design is one of my favourites! Circa 1860 to 1870.

I found this on an account that was new to me and lost hours trawling her archives. So many beautiful quilts.
