I am holding a stall selling Yoga Mat Bags at the fabulous Fitzroy Market this Sunday. The market is open on Saturday and Sunday in the lead up to Christmas and I can’t wait to be amongst it. There’s over 50 stalls of handmade, vintage, second hand and coffee, brownies, juice and the best bacon and egg rolls in Melbourne. Love to see you there. Come say Hi.

Kosmoknot products are totally handmade. They have been designed in Australia, Victoria. Julie created this collection in a small village along the Great Ocean in Apollo Bay during the Covid period isolation. Creativity has been way to escape this challenging time and to keep her focus.

Macrame has a calming effect on the mind by the repetitive motions involved that creat a meditative atmosphere. Craft as been shown to be a natural stress reliever as it is mindful act.

It nearly took me 2 years on and off from the start until I got the bags and launch the website. I arrived in Apollo Bay at the start of the second Covid lockdown. It has been a very creative period. This is an achievement of one of my projects!

KosmoKnot is my story! I am Julie Carles, 34 years old, french background living in the Sunshine Coast. I have a graphic designer education, I love creating and do thing with my fingers. I discover Knotting Art few years ago and I get very addicted. I stopped for a while and now I am realising all the projects that I have in my head since then and try to develop this passion a little more further. I want to direct my creation on interior design and major pieces, renovating used objects and create new ones!
