I turned a 3D printer and a 1 bedroom apartment into lamps people put in their living rooms.

Hi, I’m Aki, the entire team behind Pocket Picked It. Designer, printer technician, packer, marketeer, and the person answering your emails at 11pm.

Every lamp, pendant, planter, and vase is made to order right here in Melbourne on my own printers. No warehouse full of stock, no factory line, just filament turning into something you’ll actually love.

I started this because I wanted homeware that felt considered, not mass produced. It’s grown into a a store with so many unique designs, where every product is designed and made in Melbourne.

Winter has arrived. Which means so has Light July.

Year three of doing this now, and it is still our favourite time of year. Something feels right about bringing a bit of warmth into your home when the days are at their shortest.
