I’m pretty new to this as I dabbled a bit back in high school doing grandmas garden but realised I was well over my head at the time . Oh 25 years makes fools of us all giggles teenage me was using any fabric I could get my hands on and reusing papers which I cut out of cereal boxes . Let’s just say back then I learnt what not to do. But it did stop me from picking it up again because of a fear of wasting to good for my skill to use fabric.
Now that I am in my 40s Ive decided to undo the bad feeling and just dive back in so fare I’m living the slow stitching and busyness of it . This time I have adult money so starting with better quilt cottons and the glue basting has been a game changer too. 💜😜😍
I’ve been using quilting cotton thread to sew because I thought that’s what I should but should I be using a finer thread for sewing peices together .
First patchwork finish in over 25 years It’s bringing me such joy 🥹 💜🩵💜☺️🍪💕 ❤️😍
