Each project seeks to create a personal response for our clients — one that gives identity to the building and its interiors.

Designed for a family with strong ties overseas, the deep red lacquered kitchen from our Hopetoun Residence reflects the client’s heritage, where red is culturally associated with luck, celebration and auspiciousness. Its intensity creates a cocooning experience — warm, immersive and saturated with colour.

Set within a restrained contemporary interior, the kitchen and living spaces form a bold and personal counterpoint, due to their richness and theatricality.

Each of our houses has a articular focus making it a unique experience for our clients. This house in Hawthorn is one of our favourites from the archives, using a distinctive mix of handmade bricks to create an ombre’ fade effect across the facade of the houses new extension. Thank you to our Associate Director and team leader Phoenix Wang for her work in delivering this beautiful project.
