A day at the Melbourne Flower & Garden Show 🌿

From achievable gardens to beautifully considered indigenous landscapes, layered boutique spaces, and clever balcony solutions — every corner felt inspiring and doable.

The floral displays inside the Royal Exhibition Building were absolutely beautiful — sculptural, immersive, and seriously creative.

So many ideas, so much beauty… and a gentle reminder that great design can live at every scale.

Styling a boy’s bedroom — relaxed + layered.

Working with linen for that effortless feel, stripy sheets to bring in a bit of personality, a paired-back cushion combo (because less is more here), a coverlet and throw to finish it off.

~ Easygoing but intentional.
~ Pulled together without feeling overstyled.
~ Comfortable enough to actually use.

Marcia Hong Interiors will be closed from Monday 22nd December until the end of January 2026 as I take a well-earned summer break.

As the year comes to a close, I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to my wonderful clients, suppliers and collaborators. Your support has made 2025 such a rewarding year, and I’m so grateful to have shared it with you.

I’ll be back in the new year feeling refreshed and inspired, ready to welcome 2026 with beautiful new projects and ideas.

In the new year I look forward to sharing more moments from my recently completed Brighton project.
