I learned not so long ago why Australian movies look so different to the rest of the world, and why is it that Australian photography and art looks so different to the rest of the world?
LIGHTING
Australia has some of the harshest sun, with its brightness and strength unlike that of any other country. I learned that most cameras are developed (for the most part) in European countries, and set to a default mode which is made for that particular lighting ( a soft gentle lighting with grey shadow).
Our lighting is stark and contrasting

So our photos will never look the same. And that’s ok!! That’s what makes Australian photos different…. Unique…. Special

With that being said enjoy this strong light and harsh shadows 😘😆
