Custom cabinetry is a hallmark of our practice. In our Ivanhoe Residence, a wall of soft green storage features a combination of hanging, drawers and open display space to accommodate the needs of a teenage daughter, now and into the future.

She also has a sneaky ensuite tucked around the corner, making this the perfect space for her to retreat.

Kitchens are the epicentre of our homes and every one we design takes into account the needs of the family who'll be using it.

At our Ivanhoe Residence, a large clean island provides ample prep & presentation space, along with plenty of drawers for everyday items. A full height wall of cabinetry houses a drinks station, integrated fridge and double wall ovens, whilst around the corner, a butlers pantry offers additional storage & prep space out of sight.

But it's not just about function - the gentle curve on the end of the island references the curved range hood and large modular sofa in the adjacent living area, to bring softness to this hard working space.

Oak cabinetry in a soft greyish green, Fior di Pesco stone with it's beautiful veining and hints of pink, plus bronze tapware and light fittings are layered together to elevate the experience of every day routines.

Ivanhoe Residence explores the connection between old and new.

With a contemporary update to the heritage home and the addition of an expansive, light filled extension, our scope focused heavily on custom cabinetry design and meticulous material selection. By pairing softly rounded forms with rich, textural materials, we created a relaxed, inviting mood - a breath of fresh air for this busy family of four.
