Wow thank you to all of you for your lovely words of support🙏🏻
We are so blessed to have been part of a wonderful, supportive community.
I have taken some time to reflect on the highs and lows of the past 10 years and I must say the best part was the amazing people we have met and watching them find fun new ways to connnect in a very lonely world.
My heart is a little broken for all the people that will miss what we were planning to build, but full of pride for how much connection we created in those years.
I can’t help dream about the endless possibilities for meaningful connection our new membership would have achieved, but I know it is not the right time for us to pursue that.
We have never measured business success with $$, heck we woukd have walked away long ago🤣
It was always measured by what we contributed to the community and for that we felt very rich.
Thank you for all your lovely words, support and friendship🙏🏻💗

Who’s watching?

We've had Bake Off and Sewing Bee, now get ready to get your knitting needles ready! Channel 4 is bringing us The Game of Wool on More 4, a new crafty competition series, hosted by Tom Daley.

Set in Scotland, this show will see 10 knitters take on creative and challenging projects—from clothing to sculptures—all made from wool. With judges Di Gilpin and Sheila Greenwell keeping a close eye, only one will be crowned the UK’s first TV knitting champion.

It’s time to Unwind at sea!
We boarded the cruise ship in Sydney, what an amazing port-the view is sensational from the ship.
With a bunch of excited Unwinders the next 3 days are full of fun, relaxation, creativity, connection and 🍹
Nothing to worry about except where to eat, which bar to knit or crochet at😁
It really is the ultimate way to Unwind & Connect🛳️💗

Goody bag feed back!
This has been described as the best one yet🙏🏻
Creating these bags - well this trip was a box, as it had to travel to Sydney by air, is always a honour and a bit of pressure😬
So glad everyone loved it, the feed back has been heart warming💗

Goody bag night at the Cidery

After a day of travel and shopping it was time to Unwind in the hotels Cidery, for the much anticipated Goody box.

The oohs and ahs of delight were thick and the feed back was it was our best ever-phew.

Arrived safely in Sydney with a whole bunch of lovely Unwinder’s excited and ready for the days adventures.
Loaded the bus and headed to Skein Sisters, the excitement was real 🤣
The store was amazing, the hosts were gorgeous, the shopping was splendid, we left with happy hearts and full shopping bags.

Thanks, Deb and Janine for a wonderful visit, you are fantastic hosts🙏🏻

The Unwind adventure begins!
Day one we fligh from Melbourne to Sydney, first stop the wonderful Sisters.
What a delight the shop was full of excitement and so many delightful yarns, a wonderful warm welcome from our gorgeous hosts🙏🏻

We left with new inspiration, heavy shopping bags and a wonderful memory of a great shopping adventure.
