A vision board is the first step to get a coherent feel for the interior style you’re aiming for. On this singular page you can see how different aspects of your design come together, whether they are jarring or go well together.
This is the vision board I prepared for my clients in Narrawallee for their holiday home. They have provided me with a board and I have tried to find similarities between the inspo images as well as added some to round it up.
Clients were happy to make sense to their selected images.

D E S I G N | just this morning we have received the DA approval for this renovation project in narrawallee. After only 27 days we received the all clear from council. We are stoked. No design compromises needed and all approved with a BAL 29 rating thanks to Kurt at Bowantz Bushfire and Environmental.

I’m currently designing a granny flat to complement a 1970s single storey brick home.

After much thought of what external materials to use and what facade articulation would suit the granny flat best, I had this vision of ship lapped timber with vertical battens.

A google search showed me this photo by and thought “Bingo, that’s it”. the roof of the granny flat will be different though. Stay tuned for the 3D illustration coming in a later post.
